A 4-day training, scheduled from 1 to 7th of June 2023, was held in Kaunas, Lithuania. The training aimed to empower 60 youth workers, 30 from Lithuania and 30 from Turkey, to address environmental concerns in their respective rural areas and engage decision-makers.

The training sessions utilized participatory learning and teaching methods tailored to the participants’ needs. Various activities such as thematic workshops, roundtable discussions, and group work were employed to facilitate open dialogue and feedback. Meetings with policy-makers and experts were conducted in a non-formal setting to encourage open dialogue.

It aimed to empower youth through knowledge exchange and interaction with decision makers, fostering a collaborative environment to address environmental concerns effectively.
